Science and Society
Science and Society is a biannual journal. Its issues are published in April and September of each year. Edited and sponsored by the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC). The publication emerged in 1975; and in June 2017 migrated all its archives and became an online magazine. It is a medium with a clear inter- and multi-transdisciplinary vocation, which collects the scientific production of INTEC, as well as of the academic institutions of the Dominican Republic, Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition to research work on this region of the world generated in other academic spaces.
Science and Society focuses on the social sciences and the humanities; so, its thematic lines value the inputs from the communication sciences, archeology and ethnography, political science and public policies, multidisciplinary links between science, technology, society and the environment, gender studies, history, and Latin American and Caribbean literature, governance, sociology, cultural studies, linguistics, philosophy, religious studies, anthropology, social psychology, visual arts and other topics within the field of social sciences and humanities.
