Salud mental y calidad de vida en trastornos hematooncológicos

Resumen
Introducción: Los trastornos hematoncológicos cada vez han afectado la calidad de vida y salud mental de los individuos que padecen de dicha alteración, incluyendo el bienestar funcional, físico y psicológico, dados por el deterioro progresivo de su enfermedad, del mismo modo, estos son sometidos a múltiples tratamientos que alteran la capacidad funcional del individuo.
Métodos: Se realizó una búsqueda avanzada de la literatura en PubMed, Embase (Elsevier), Google Scholar y Scopus, y se obtuvieron 50 artículos.
Conclusión: Los tratamientos por los que los pacientes deben someterse se consideran la causa de la alteración de la calidad de vida de dichos individuos. Se identificó varios factores de riesgo para la calidad de vida de estos pacientes, incluyéndose la radioterapia, el trasplante de células madre y la quimioterapia. En su manejo se resaltó la importancia del apoyo psicológico durante su proceso de enfermedad y los cuidados paliativos en su final de vida. Los pacientes poseen sintomatología que incluye dolor, ansiedad, depresión, fatiga, entre otros, que influyen directamente en su capacidad funcional y calidad de vida, y el deterioro psicológico y emocional no solo se limita a los pacientes sino también a sus cuidadores, círculo familiar y social.
